Habitat: East Coast of Madagascar

Notes:  Extremely rare palm with a moderately sized trunk growing to around 40ft, with distinct “steps” from the remains of old leaf sheaths. Very graceful leaves with white tomentose rachis.

Cold Hardiness: Prefers Tropical / Subtropical Climates
